Storms At Sea - Preparing For Your Off Season Cruise

Summer is usually the ideal time to take a vacation since the weather is warm and the kids are out of school. The lure of a cruise can be hard to pass up especially since Caribbean cruises can be deeply discounted in summer. The Caribbean has a hurricane season from about early June to late November so before you purchase your dream holiday it is important to keep some things in mind.

Cruise ships are very safe but they aren't indestructible. There have been a few tragedies involving cruise ships in the last decade. This isn't meant to scare you but make you aware that Mother Nature dictates your holiday especially in the hurricane season. Cruise ships are equipped with technology that can forecast weather conditions so don't be unduly concerned.

Cruise lines will always but the safety of its passengers first and will never intentionally go through a storm. Cruise lines can skip or change a port of call with little or no compensation. If the weather is severe they may cancel a cruise all together in which case they will give you a voucher for another cruise at a future date. While understandable, a canceled trip can mean a missed vacation especially if your family's vacation time is limited and not flexible.

Check with the cruise line company or your travel agent for information on changes due to weather. You can also purchase travel insurance but make sure you read the fine print and understand what is covered; some cover none or very little in the case of acts of God.

A storm may not be enough to cancel a cruise and you can still have an enjoyable time. There are activities on the ship that are indoors including exercise classes and shows. Make sure you bring some books and consider bringing a portable DVD player and movies to keep the family occupied.

Make sure you bring sea sick pills. Even if the weather is nice, the waters are sure to be rough. If you get sea sick, head to the center of the ship where swaying is at a minimum.

So your holiday plans are not totally spoiled, have a backup plan in case the cruise is canceled. Plan your embarkation port as a fun city such as Orlando. If your cruise is canceled then you can still head to Orlando and your family can enjoy Disneyworld. Also consider some enjoyable road trip options if the airport at your port city is closed.

Lastly, if you travel in the hurricane season plan for inclement weather and don't get upset if it rains the entire time.

Season Meat - What do I do?

If I follow Christ, it's good for me, going to the pool water of a public park, public beach or public (the key word here is "public")? In this day and time, public sunbathing, swimming, public areas and immodest or inappropriate clothing seemed to be related. Even if we do not place that can directly answer this specific question, we find the divine principles that our behavior with regard to public places must go on the above,With our "public water clothes.

Let's start with the basic premise, and verify the truth of the Scriptures to see the things that gives) us (1 Tim 6.17 and God Want to enjoy an active public waters in the wrong way, for themselves. If, instead, commits the Christian faithful in this type of public activity, the members of the world to attend and participate as well. So we know that we will face the ...exposed!

clothing is in the secular world, and we all know that a "secular Bikini" less fuel than the average child's sock in it! This reality, the true followers of Christ the problems.

Lust of the flesh. Public supply water activities with people who dressed "scantily", and many (if not most) of their flesh will be made complete. Jesus said, "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman lustfully has committedAdultery with her in his heart "(Mt 5:28) Consider the book of James on the possible course of pleasure." Then, when the passion you have conceived, gives birth to sin. Too bad, when it is finished, bringeth forth death "(James 1:15) Who should be weak in this area are to refrain from public sunbathing and water sports.

indecent clothing worn by a Christian. "Likewise also that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shame andSobriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly array "(1 Tm 2:9) modest clothing for men and women, and we always ensure that the modest, appropriate clothing and appropriate. Who, as ambassador Jesus Christ, Christian Paul wrote. "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, I beseech you worthy of the calling with which you are called to walk" (Eph. 4:1).

If we are shameless in our clothes, we can delight in the world afterus. I have seen Christians forget this simple principle and clothing in a desire that others may cause. Jesus said, "But who is this one of these little ones who believe in insulting me, it would be better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and sank into the depths of the sea" (Mt 18.06).

If we are shameless in our clothes, we can make the world believe that their interpretation is not permissible in the eyes of God, that "approval" of itsImmodesty. One of the most common comments I hear is lost, "I do not see any difference in my life, and a style of Christian life." This is a sad impression that many Christians have created, and it is shameful.

If a Christian in public for sunbathing, swimming, water sports and public opinion? I can not answer that question for you, but if the meat to the temptation of lust, you should not go.Peter wrote: "Beloved, I beseech you as strangers and foreigners, without fromf leshly lusts, which war against the soul" (1 Peter 2:11). If they refuse to cover the meat itself, you should not go (remember I am talking about public participation, not in a private facility).

Mike, I have no problem with the lust of the flesh, and I want my family to the beach for an audience - what should I wear? I advise you to expose only the legs belowknees and arms. Therefore, "the knee shorts and t-shirt, not the legs above the knee or upper body (abdomen, back). And ladies, I would also recommend any type of neoprene Aqua Socks. Research shows that some men" fetishism foot "and send it to lustful thoughts of women to see your feet. Now, some of our fraternity to denigrate me my comments in this article, and can take the blame for the states that permissiveEnd of a Christian going to the beach, a public, but I can not answer for another person in relation to this. I can only point to the word of God and on my best to biblical counseling (1 Peter 4:11) bid.

Sometimes we did not, honestly face the center of the problem ... Christian people, especially young people engage in water in the summer, and want to know what is appropriate wear. If you go to, so be awareThe temptations, your own weaknesses and modest dress. Cover the skin and protect your review!

Flesh Season - What Am I to Do?

If I follow Christ, it's good for me, going to the pool water of a public park, public beach or public (the key word here is "public")? In this day and time, public sunbathing, swimming, public areas and immodest or inappropriate clothing seemed to be related. Even if we do not place that can directly answer this specific question, we find the divine principles that our behavior with regard to public places must go on the above, along with our "public water apparel".

Let's begin with a basic premise, and examine the Scriptures to find the truth; God wants us to enjoy the things He has given us (1 Tim. 6:17), so public water activities are not wrong, in and of themselves. However, when the faithful Christian engages in this kind of public activity, members of the world will be present and participating, as well. Therefore, we know going in that we will be exposed to...the exposed!

Worldly attire will be displayed by the world, and we all know that a "worldly bikini" contains less fabric than an average kid's sock! This reality can cause the faithful follower of Christ inherent problems.

Lust of the flesh. Public water activities are filled with people who are "scantily" dressed, and much (if not most) of their flesh is visible. Jesus said, "But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Mt. 5:28). Consider the book of James regarding the possible progression of lust, "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death" (James 1:15). Those who are weak in this area should refrain from public sun-bathing and water activities.

Immodest clothing worn by a Christian. "In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array" (1Ti 2:9). Modest apparel applies to both men and women, and we must always dress in a manner which is modest, appropriate, and befitting of one who is called an ambassador of Christ Jesus; Christian. Paul wrote, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called" (Eph 4:1).

If we're immodest in our dress, we may cause the world to lust after us. I have seen Christians forget this simple principle, and dress in ways which can cause others to lust. Jesus said, "But who so shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea" (Mt 18:6).

If we're immodest in our dress, we may cause the world to believe that their immodesty is permissible in God's eyes, thus "approving of" their own immodesty. One of the most common observations I hear from the lost is, "I don't see any difference in my lifestyle, and a Christian's lifestyle". This is a sad perception that many Christians have created, and it's shameful.

Should a Christian participate in public sun-bathing, public swimming, and public water-sports? I cannot answer this question for you, but if you are tempted by lust of the flesh, you should not go.  Peter  wrote, "Dearly beloved, I  beseech  you  as strangers and pilgrims, abstain fromf leshly lusts, which war against the soul" (1Pe 2:11). If you refuse to cover your own flesh, you should not go (remember that I'm talking about PUBLIC attendance, not at a private facility).

Mike, I don't have a problem with lust of the flesh, and I want to take my family to a public beach - what should I wear? I recommend exposing only the legs below the knees, and the arms. Therefore, "knee-length" shorts and T-shirts; never reveal your legs above the knees, or the upper torso (midriff, back). And ladies, I would also recommend some type of neoprene aqua-Socks.  Research reveals that some men have "foot fetishes", and they derive lustful thoughts from seeing women's feet.  Now, some in our brotherhood may disparage me because of my comments in this article, and may accuse me of being permissive for stating that it's fine for a Christian to even go to a public beach, but I cannot answer for another person in respect to this issue. I can only point to God's Word on the matter, and try my best to offer scriptural advice (1 Peter 4:11).

Sometimes we simply do not want to face the honest fact at the core of the issue...Christian people, especially teenagers, engage in summer water activities, and they want to know what's appropriate to wear. If you're going to go, then be aware of the The temptations, your own weaknesses and modest dress. Cover the skin and protect your review!
