What is CornHole?

Cornhole is a game that many people really enjoy playing and can be totally addicting. It is a game for outdoors and is fun for people of all ages.

Cornhole toss is played by using two cornhole boards and many bags filled with corn. The boards are positioned approximately 30 feet apart from each other and players throw from in between. Players throw bags at each of the cornhole boards and try to make them into the holes or onto the board. Points are scored when a bag lands somewhere on board or in the hole on the card. You can play with two people, in teams or alone. You can also hold tournaments with up to 12 players.

The game of cornhole is very similar to the game of horseshoes. There are many advantages when you cornhole contrast to horseshoes, but you may appreciate the game. The great thing about cornhole is that the pockets are safe and child friendly. The children, and for that reason, can not hurt with cornhole bagslike they can with horseshoes. Horseshoes are known to be extremely dangerous and cause many injuries every year.

The boards are also portable so you can store them inside of the garage, shed, or other storage place when you are finished playing. Horseshoes require permanent stakes and sand pits in the ground which take up space in your yard. Many people love horseshoes but they don't play it very much because they don't want to put in a sand pit and the stakes. Cornhole is a good option if you love to play horseshoes but don't want to take up the yard space because you can put the cornhole boards and bags away when you are finished playing the game.

Cornhole must be an outdoor game because it requires two large boards that need enough space to be spread almost 30 feet apart from each other. The need for space requires you to play outdoors. There are many similarities between cornhole and horseshoes, making it a great game for people who want a safe portable version of horseshoes.
