Dining in Wilmington, North Carolina

A growing number of tourists to Wilmington, North Carolina every year to see its historic sites, museums, beaches, camping and other attractions, restaurants requires the growth of the city. Of course, now Wilmington, North Carolina has to restaurants that do justice to all tastes and all nationalities, where American tourists, French, Italian, German, Greek, Indian, Asian or Caribbean.

The selection is very eclectic and you have the choice of sitting indoors, on the balcony or at the sidewalk for your lunch or dinner. For Mexican and Southeastern food, especially fish tacos, drop by at K-38 Baja Grill.

At The Downtown Deli you will be served the best Boar's Head meats, homemade root beer and fresh baked cookies. Charley Brownz offers an eclectic menu of American, Italian and Mexican food and also has daily drink and food specials. The Happy Hour Buffet Spread at Charley Brownz is a great idea at very reasonable rates. Le Catalan is a good place for French food and has a lot of traditional French selections and wine on offer. The Caprice Bistro on the other hand serves authentic bistro style French food, a wide variety of desserts and wine. For Italian selections visit Fat Tony's Italian Pub and for Asian cuisine your destination is Indochine.

For regional food the best place to go to is The Port Land Grille and for seafood go to Elijah's and the Naked Kingfish Seafood House and Oyster Bar. Both the Soho Steakhouse and the Trails End Steak House offers hors d'oeuvres, if aged beef, fresh vegetables and seasoned chicken dinner to prepare.

Pizza, lasagna and penne Arabiatta are best on a pizza bistro. For quite a full-service menu, drink specials every day, a great sports bar and big screen TVs, four satellite TV and beach volleyball to go to Capt'n Bill's Backyard Grill.
