The Warthog Lives On

SU Air Force inventory is an aircraft affectionately known as the Warthog, the A-10 Fighter.

It has been demonstrated over and over again as a decent cell in peacetime and battle conditions. The Air Force recently announced that the update for all 356 of A/0A-10 aircraft. This last update is 5 years old and $ 168,000,000 dollars, a testament to the fact that to live the wild boar and not end up on the aircraft bone yard. The newCapabilities allow precision munitions to deliver A/0A-10 called JDAM, or Joint Direct Attack Munitions. The Warthog further enhanced with other systems with those of lean meat that makes the war machine. I can tell you that there is a former munitions factory mechanic on the A-10 is a large aircraft to and from work, I fly by the pilots, the fun has been said, all right. So my heart good to see that the tank killer continues to serve our country well and that aAircraft ground troops enemy fears most.

There was a time right after the first Gulf War, it seemed that the history books Warthog was destined for the Air Force entered into a series of A-10 bases between Myrtle Beach AFB, England AFB and bases d ' Suwon AB Korea as overseas. The planes were assigned to other units in the reserves and some were moved to Moody AFB and Pope AFB. The main task was to close air support to ground troops andThere was even talk of turning ON the plane remained on the Army. Although this would be entirely appropriate, exercise shudder to think of mechanical Warthog Army Air Force emblems of these fighters. I remember having to TDY, or temporary military bases for practice and see how the U.S. military personnel who have our A-10 aircraft. E 'was built in a single cell in fact 30 mm Gatling gun. This weapon is the GAU-8 gun, the weapon system presentedWarthog. The soldiers would always tell us that they were happy that we were on their side in a combat environment. He had a large capacity stand-off with the ammunition of the day as the AGM-65 and ammunition as Mk-82 and Mk-84 bomb payload. The aircraft was later modified to carry the AIM-9 missile, to protect it from enemy fighters. Warthog Bad ass indeed!

The A-10 aircraft, which I worked had painted the teeth of the tiger on the nose after the famous Flying Tigers of WWIIHistory, and I always thought that the fact Warthog seem even more intimidating. I remember seeing many big spots and paintings, an angry pig in possession of a Gatling gun and a smile from ear to ear. The good old days of the Tactical Air Command, I miss you, I know this is how the new investment in A/0A-10 Warthog is a good thing, perhaps in the present war, is once again the bad guys on behalf of the whole our superior air power. I have no doubt that if the U.S. Air ForceThe story has long been the subject of now, the results of the Warthog current will be important, and perhaps a new type of cell Warthog, an unmanned aircraft with a huge Gatling gun, you have the weapon.

Meanwhile, the enemies of the United States care if the Warthog is targeting, it is too late already toast. Live on A0/A-10 Warthog and keep our country safe.
