10 Things to See Charleston SC

If you're planning a trip to Charleston, there are sights and attractions that should be done on your list of things. I've included a list of the top 10 below!

1) The battery has one of the most photographed homes in Charleston. You can walk along the raised sidewalk, which has a magnificent view of the harbor of Charleston go one way and historic buildings, on the other! Best of all, it's free!

2) Waterfront Park is within walking distance from the battery and has benches with greenThe rooms that are ideal for rest. There is also a large public pier with swings, but these fluctuations are usually in high demand, especially during the tourist season. This work is a great place to see the boats and the harbor, and it's free!

3) Fort Sumter near the top of the list for two reasons. First, you can see where the civil war began in 1861. Secondly, there is a boat to Fort Sumter, taking a splendid view of the harbor of Charleston! Fort Sumter is one of the most popular sites in Charleston for these two reasons.

You will also find many cafes and restaurants.

8) IfThey like to play golf, then Charleston is the ideal place for holidays to be! Some of the most beautiful courses in Kiawah Island, Iceland, Daniel, Daniel dunes and Iceland. You can also find good options in Mt Pleasant. Charleston hosts many big tournaments during the year, and many of the courses were designed by big names like Tom Fazio.

9) There should be lots of houses and plantations of Charleston on your list of things to see. The most popular are Boone Hall, Drayton Hall,Magnolia Plantation and Middleton Place. Middleton Place, for example, appeared several times in the film The Patriot, and is one of only four farms in the area to show the long history of Charleston.
