Wekiwa Springs State Park is known for Orlando residents know, but it is a mystery to most visitors. Tucked away in Apopka, are the sources of a wilderness wonderland.

You can start at the top of the springs, and then paddle along the river with a shuttle back to "Canoe Beach" - the starting point.

There are also camping at Wekiwa Springs State Park, and is one of the few Florida State Parks, which in fact allows for animals camping! Do not worry, there is a camp for people without pets, too.
